Ottolinger is next up to take a step on the wild side — the PUMA side, that is.
Led by Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient, Ottolinger staged its Fall/Winter 2023 runway show, where outwear with dangling tubes and shredded dresses mingled with fresh renditions of fan-faves like the Twisted sunglasses and ceramic bags.
With names like Tyga and Avril Lavigne front row to witness (they aren’t dating, by the way), the Berlin-based label also said surprise, debuting first looks at its forthcoming PUMA collaboration of shoes and bags.
Bold “Ottolinger” prints flashed on the side of collaborative patent handbags, which swung from models’ shoulders. At the same time, dual-branding hit on the bag’s straps, reiterating a joint effort.
As for footwear, silhouettes ranged from leather high-tops to gilded knee-high boots, finished with spiked soles and wrapped in straps (Ottolinger’s in-house designs often incorporate strappy details, by the way).

There’s a racing vibe exuded through Ottolinger x PUMA pieces. The boots’ structure mirrors the build of traditional motorcycle boots while the bags’ bold colorblocking reminds me of classic racing suit designs.
That may be why the two captioned their partnership announcement with “PUMA x Ottolinger mission mood. Speeding.”
PUMA is prepping to make 2023 its year, having also recently connected with LaQuan Smith and Dapper Dan and brought Rihanna back on the team. And now, Ottolinger’s got next.
